Typically, each contract will have its own financial reporting requirements. SRG recognizes this critical need and develops specialized reports that provide the cost information that the customer considers important - displayed in a format that makes sense to the customer. Moreover, we provide all costing information to the customer within 72 hours of period end. Additionally, SRG provides extensive ad hoc reporting to resolve unanticipated costing questions as they arise.
As part of our reliance on the Six Sigma quality control process, SRG is continually looking at process improvement. Recently, SRG implemented both processes and technology to completely revolutionize the data management process at the National Earthquake Information Center (NEIC). The result was elimination of backlogged work, generation of staff efficiencies, and production of a superior product.
At NOAA/Forecast Systems Laboratory, Director Alexander MacDonald had a vision of displaying moving earth images on a sphere. His concept was brought to reality by a team including SRG employees. Science On a SphereTM was created to give the public an easy to understand view of the complexities of our world's geography, weather, and much more.
